A good hearty WELCOME to my humble photography site !
I'm Robert Mallette, or Bob if you prefer. I've loved and been involved in photography for over 30 years now, some say obsessed. I particularly enjoy the "art" of photography and am always trying to "push the envelope" if you will. Always trying new ideas and concepts. I spent a good part of a decade in my black and white darkroom, developing and printing my own work. I truly love the craft of B/W photography and studied Ansel Adams "Zone System". Now in the digital age I am applying those same skills in my digital black and white photographs. Yes it is possible !!!
I also love HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography, and am always open to new and exciting challenges.
Which leads me to my challenge to "you"...Is there something specific, something special you see in your minds eye? Something you'd like to see in either B/W , HDR, or conventional photography? Please let me know. Give me an ASSIGNMENT.
We, my assistant and I thoroughly love covering WEDDINGS, in the photo-journalist style as well as the formal "shoot". Capturing the special people in your life in a way that expresses their personalities, as they really are.
PORTRAITS, be it human or animal, EVENTS, REAL ESTATE, INSURANCE, COMMERCIAL, or even PERSONALIZED one on one INSTRUCTION.
I have a very engaging assistant . I do feel it extremely important and valuable to have female insights and experience for a Wedding shoot. You can't not, but like her.
